Par Travel and Tours, formerly the Par Travel Agency, owned and operated by Atty. Antonio B. Partoza, Jr obtained its authority to act as special sales agent of the Philippine Airlines (PAL) from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) on September 01,1993.

Soon after complying with requirements of office space, equipments facilities and bank guarantee deposit. PAR TRAVEL AND TOURS, PAR for short started accepting bookings, reservations and issuing tickets to passengers for its principal, the Philippines Airlines. At the start the issuance of tickets was done manually by two (2) employees who were sent to CEBU for training sponsored by the Philippine Airlines under its Domestic Ticketing Program (DTP). One of the objectives of the Domestic Ticketing Program of the Philippine Airlines is to decongest its ticketing offices nationwide thereby providing comfort to its customers who will not queue in line for long periods to purchase their tickets.

Not long after, Par Travel and Tours became known to traveling sector who found it convenient to call in for reservation and delivery of their tickets a service that cannot be provided by the airline itself.

The business grew from an original two (2) employees to seven (7) and its office space expanded by a third to accommodate more customers.

At present new services are offered such as facilitating domestic and foreign travel arrangements, travel insurance assistance, visa and passport processing and documentation.

Located at Door #6 Santos Bldg., Duterte St., Davao City, the business is at present managed by Arman T. Montano, assisted by wife Pia Lourdes. Both regularly undergo training/ seminars to keep up with the latest in travel and tourism business. They also participate in Familiarization Tours to widen their horizon, a must for individuals engaged in the business of travel and tours.
